It Never Snows In Knoxville

Yes, we told everyone before we moved here that it rarely snows in Knoxville and, if it does, it is usually just a tiny bit. After 60 degree weather on Sunday, Mother Nature laughed in our faces and snowed on our heads on Monday. We made the best of it and made our very first snowMorse. Sam was delighted that he could build a figure bigger than himself. He was also delighted that our snowMorse had to wear the goofy red hat that Mom knitted a couple of years ago. We know our snowMorse doesn't have much of a face (no coal or carrots to be found) but, like we said, we got caught completely off guard and had to make do with acorns and sticks. We promise to do better next time (but secretly hope that there is no next time).

Great idea!! We love snow man Morse. We also built our own "Frosty". He is about 7 feet tall. We were a little afraid he might fall on one of us, but think we have him pretty secure now. We didn't have any coal either, so he has radish eyes and a green onion mouth. (he was lucky enough to get a carrot nose). Hope you're having a great day.
